i found the percussion got a bit lost in the mix, overpowered by the pads a bit. cool track tho

Man you really know how to use them pads properly. Never heard a song with such strong pads.

The name comes from my current interest in quantum entanglement. Something that's been on my mind for a while. So it felt really natural giving this song this title. Also I kinda go for a feeling when naming things and the feeling I got when making this was very scientific and spiritual, hence quantum entanglement.Nevalo wrote:might suggest a name change. maybe. maybe not. sup to you son.
Didn't know about this guy. Thanks for the heads up though.Electric_Head wrote:Little too close to Epochalypso esp sinse he's known as epoch.
Yeah, I wanted the song to focus more on the sonic soundscapes rather than the beat. But I definitely appreciate this kind of criticism as I'm still learning how to mix and stuff.xstatic wrote:i found the percussion got a bit lost in the mix, overpowered by the pads a bit. cool track tho

yea i wasnt having a dig because i think your name is bad or anything, just that theres already a fairly established (in terms of the forum) producer who runs under that alias.

Nice tune man. only think IMO is to lessen the reverb on the snare slightly..

Good compression on the pads.
This sounds really trippy and hallucinatory. Thats actually a word. Hallucinatory.
The melodies are engaging and nice. The snare is the only thing poking at the vibe. Maybe the hi hats are too loud.
As for quantum entanglement, maybe one day we'll be able to communicate at instantaneous speeds instead of at the speed of light, kudos to orson scott card for having that idea back in the 80's. It makes perfect sense though. Maybe even build a wormhole. WHODAFUKK KNOWS?

Thx man. I really like it to be trippy and hallucinatory. The majority of the music I listen to is psychedelic of some sort, so that naturally translates into my music. And yeah, quantum entanglement FTW haha!Rappone wrote:Good compression on the pads.

very nice vibe mate, lovely pads! also feel verb on the snare can go down a little bit, and maybe a bit of of the higher freq's eq'd out of the snare and hat (seem a bit harsh sounding to me) would be nice.. progression however is awesome and the overall vibe/sound is great.. it does sort of feel like things are fighting for space in the mix but keep up the awesome work loved it!
