sounds like a VERY VERY basic granular synth patch using some sort of percussion as the initial sample (with SLIGHT automation on the loop length).
looking at the waveform i'm basically 100% certain he used a granular synth.
but can make this with a few saws, some distortion, maybe a tiny bit of chorus/phaser, slight decay on the sustains volume with a fast attack. oh, also sounds like a slight pitch bend on it, going up a few semitones initially in like less that 100ms, then dropping back down to the initial pitch after like 500ms.

Try using a bitcrusher as well, also try using a free guitar amp simulator.

Saw wave bass or heavy kick drum passed into a guitar amp/cab simulator.
