So basically you're looking for some mediocre metal band playing halfstep beats.
With some GRALKSEJFNALKDJFN to top it off.

Last Pendulum LP could fit you.
and yeah, join the BroClub. here, you won't find what you're seeking.

errrm, I dont think so, he said he hates sampling and likes djent/metal dubstep and wants male vocals. I really dont think he wants to learn more about dubstep, he just wants shit metal bands that scream over wobbles

Nail on the head!

Halftime drums around 140 and synths does not necessarily mean dubstep, more people need to realise this

You're not looking for dubstep then, bruv. Try D&B.

It's people like this guy that deter me from asking about new stuff/dubstep. I'm actually interested in learning like Dustwyrm said. But just because what I'm interested in isn't what skimpi is into he calls it shit. What works for some doesn't always work for everybody. Why don't we stop bashing and just accept that different people want different things.

^^^Still missing the point. You came here asking for a specific kind of dubstep, but what you asked for isn't really dubstep. You seem pretty shut-off to what dubstep actually is, so there's not much we can do for you. If individual people put you off experiencing new music, that's a problem in itself.

OP, do you like this song? If not, then this probably isn't the forum for you.

Sorry, but nah I don't really like that Pinch song. Guess I'll check around in other places. It's not that I'm shut-off, I just know literally nothing about dubstep. I just heard Unsustainable by Muse and really liked it. Someone said it was dubstep so I thought I'd see if there was more similar stuff out there.

I did dig that Slayer remix. That was pretty neat.

Thanks for the help folks.

Its not dubstep though, that is a band with guitars making "dubstep noises" which isnt actually really dubstep, its just what dubstep is known for having these days. The way you have put it, seems to me like alot of people who are into metal, rock, "real music" who seem to look down on electronic and sampled music as it isnt played on an instrument, and seem to think it takes minimal effort compared to playing an instrument. All of dubstep is this kind of music though, you get bands who play live dubstep yes, but its not the same thing, so if you cant get into sampling i dont know what you are doing here.

On the point you made about people like me putting you off finding new music, I have never once made a post on a forum asking for a specific type of music, or for people to recommend me similar music, i find my own fucking music, i dont get people to find it for me. Not meaning that I dont see what other people post, or play in sets and disregard it cos I want to find my own stuff, but I dont go around asking for it, in these days of the internet you dont need to do that you can find whatever music you want by just searching for it.

I apologize, I didn't mean to put down electronic or sampling in music. I never meant to imply that dubstep or any music was simplistic or required minimal effort. There are a few songs in my library that are electronic. I just meant to say it's not really my bag. But I'm open to suggestions. I never know, something might appeal to me that I didn't expect.

I thought part of the wonder of the internet is that if you were curious about something there are millions of people that can help you learn more. I don't know anything at all about dubstep and wanted something similar to a song I like. This seemed like a good place to find some answers. I was looking for something kinda specific but I'll try anything really.

I've been checking out some brostep and I think you guys are right. That's more up my alley.
