WEDNESDAY AUG 15th: DUBSTEP SIDESHOW WITH A PORTLAND TWIST!

SELECTOR DUB-U (NARCO.HZ/SUREFIRE/SUB FM/STONESTHROW-SF)
Dub-U Bay Area bass bin killer. Plays as he likes and you'll love his sounds. Resident selector for JUJU's NARCO.HZ monthly and a radio show host on SUB FM. Dub-U has managed to find the time to also produce a few forthcoming jems in the Dubstep style as well as a forthcoming remix with TEKBLAZER and BARON ZEN on STONES THROW RECORDS.

MONKEYTEK (LO DUBS/SUB FM/DUB & RUCKUS-PORTLAND)
Monkeytek was brought up on ragga jungle and dub & has been djing
dubstep in Portland for 3 years. He hosts a monthly radio show on SUBFM since march of 2006 and curates a monthly party in Portland called VARIOUS with creative partner RYAN ORGAN. Working as a secret agent for LO DUBS Records, based in Portland, he echo-locates top quality dubstep for release on 12" plates. Now we are delighted to have Monkeytek rinsing the set here at BRAP DEM!

KOZEE (REDLINE-SF)
You know Kozee brings mad energy to the decks. A local fixture who has been djing in the SF scene for quite a bit, she respresents the all femme collective REDLINE.

TEKBLAZER (408 BASS/STONES THROW-SF)
San Jose veteran Tekblazer has been playing and making beats for a while. His most recent effort is a remix he did with Selector Dub U for the infamous Baron Zen (Sweet Steve, Peanut Butter Wolf, Tekblazer) which will appear next month on Stones Throw. He may even be found on a video for the Baron Zen. As far as the Dubstep tunes he'll be playing alot of "WATCH OUT" and "HEAVY" type plates.
