i dont even know 90% of the producers people talk about on here anymore and i'm only 20

sometime in between night slugs going big, uk funky being the in thing and planet mu discovering footwork i just stopped bothering
theres still loads of dubstep (as in real dubstep) i listen to, mostly the old planet mu stuff, old hotflush breaksy stuff too but the newer stuff... nah. only machine code when they're not in the mood for screechy noises.

i could keep posting but you get the gist. machine code rule. kinda sad i wont get to play that stuff out or hear it in a club :?

Lol, this made me laugh

Seriously though, maybe its time to expand your horizons. Ridiculous wobbly rave music gets boring after a while. Maybe you should look into dubstep's roots to figure out where it should be heading in the future. It's producers that carve the scene...

I fucking hate the term "chillstep" and anyone that uses it is a complete dick. There is no such thing as chillstep. Also It makes me laugh what people refer to as chillstep. I saw someone comment on Sleeper - Zombies VIP and say it was chillstep. Yes its deeper than some stuff but there is absolutely nothing "chilled" about that tune whatsoever

Haha Decisions is such an awesome track. I mean, it sucks balls but it's SO fucking good. The melody, the retarded rapping, Miley, the vocals. I mean, it's like idiot-savant absolutely genius and shit at the same time. I love it.

I agree that dubstep rarely excites me anymore though. The last track I was excited for was Like This with SkisM, since that I think it's been pretty dull, and that's probably not even what most of ya'all consider dubstep anyway. Otherwise Burial is like the one thing I still listen to.

Except for ChillStep ofc, that shit is the bomb :corndance:

edit: forgot the capitals in ChillStep, fuck

I dont often listen to dubstep anymore...if anyone had suggestions on tunes/releases mixes that are percussion oriented...not so focused on a slamming snare Id be all ears as it were...

New dubstep sucks. Everyone loves that skrillex sound nowadays. Ya know, where it sounds like they threw up in a mic and sampled it? old school dubstep is where its at. I still listen to rusko, older excision, liquid stranger, etc. Im also big into glitchhop and downtempo. I hate seein all these kids ask how they can be like skrillex. Skrillex is horrible IMO. BRO!!!....BRo!!!Bro...bro.....?

I miss the days when people would go to dubstep shows and just be there for the love of the music. Now you got all these 13-16 year old kids going to shows fucked up out of their mind on drugs and just want the most nastiest sounding synths possible (such as...sampling your self after downing a fifth of whiskey).

God its almost like you cant meet cool people at shows anymore cuz the scenes bitches completely take over and turn what you love into a fucking popularity contest about who loves brostep the most and put the wrong message out there to people who dont know what REAL dubstep is. I even listen to some old school garage. Why??? BECAUSE I LOVE THE MUSIC!!!!

My 2 cents.
Dont get mad at the ignorant, educate them.

This.

Gif that was posted was not good enough.. There's some major WUB in her tits on that music video, that Gif doesn't capture it very well.

Dubstep is lame.. Unless it's Skrillex. :dunce:
