more-
sully, the guys album carrier was absolutely amazing. fucking hate juke/footwork type shit usually but the stuff towards the end of carrier is beautiful music.
Old School Tearout, with the right amount of energy and not as much pillhead aggression.
Justin Martin, hood rich is awesome.

less-
Deep House. IT IS JUST A FUCKING LOOP FOR 10 MINUTES. THAT EVERYONE THINKS IS 'SICK'. NO IT ISNT.
Ignorant American influence on genres, respect to quality american producers and DJs (Joe Nice etc), but the vast majority RUIN GENRES.
Trap- just as faddy as poobahton imo
Dubstep Producers 'moving away from Dubstep looking for a new sound' Modify the sound you have, not make shit trap remixes and claim 'your really feeling this more than dubstep right now'.

Actually, this goes both ways. Ignorant non-Americans taking on American-derived genres [HIP HOP cough cough cough] - or, for that matter, ignorant non-Jamaicans taking on Jamaican genres, whatever.

Ignorami doing ignorant takes on anything.

Also pleased to see I'm not the only one that's long since burned out on 4-on-the-floor. Except I burnt out on it about 20 years ago. :corndance:

Edited my paragraph to avoid confusion over what i mean
I don't like hip hop, and I wasn't really referring to hip hop in this statement, I didn't say all american influence on music is bad. Most modern edm is commercialised to satisfy the american market however, dubstep went to america and returned with brostep. The stuff rusko et al were putting out around that time was tearout and nothing like the robot screeches we got back. Dubstep was born in the UK,admittably influenced by jamaican Dub/Reggae, but conceived in britain.

I enjoyed the tune, but for me 99% of deep house is still terrible, I think a lot of it is from the people in my area who listen to it, they post the most terrible tunes and are general bellends

Ah that's a good one.

Less: people judging a genre based on it's perceived audience.
