yes and no. the original is so awesome. i need to know what that instrument is. it sounds like an erzu, but i just cant get it. i used a similar sound on my track 'tengri' which was a heavily modified indian sitar. such awesome instruments

On Friday I subbed for some dude at the radio station I play at. Turns out I was after some old dancehall heads who had a bunch of 7"s with them. We chatted about vinyl for a bit. I opened with Dry Cry and the room went mad. It was me and a bunch of middle aged black men belting out the lyrics, eventually one of the guys got on the mic and called for a reload etc. Such good vibes. My regular show is 2-4am Monday mornings and its so hard to get a lot of energy to start with.
