just found this thread via the Kahn & Neek tape thread and wanted to brag about my very first musical release ever: In 2002 I was featured (as MC Skukol) on a tape only release of Cologne / Bonn based rap crew Cool Clique. I wasn´t producing back then, just rapping all day The tape is quite worth a couple of quit now, if you can find it somewhere...lol

Same as facebook, the clips are just black, can't play anything. Maybe I have to rub a cassette on my lappy as I hit play?

Funny how shit comes full circle. I got a shoe box full of cassettes including many mixtapes and albums I cant find anywhere in digital format. Makes me laugh at myself when I hook my walkman up to my aux input in my car to bang some old shit.

can anyone recommend a particular brand for tapedecks?
having a look around ebay finding some cheap ones that look nice (silver, with VU meters ) and have audio inputs so i can record stuff but im not sure if for example philips or 'dual c' are any good

any help would be appreciated
