Re: Burial - Truant/Rough Sleeper (HDB069)
I think everyone is judging really fast, the audio quality isn't that great, but I must say my first impression is that truant alone sounds better than all the kindred ep together, will have to wait and see how it grows on me, it has some incredible parts, the guy still has it.

what do you expect, for him to keep making the same tunes forever? i mean i really liked that kind of sound too but id rather have him try something new than to just recycle the same old kind of stuff for years. pirates came out 6 years ago, i would hope that he sounds different nowadayssvpreme wrote:Not gon' buy this.

Naw, not necessarily, but I just wish he'd at least keep things as (relatively) dark as they were on Untrue, even if the vocals are definitively the focal point now.Phigure wrote:what do you expect, for him to keep making the same tunes forever? i mean i really liked that kind of sound too but id rather have him try something new than to just recycle the same old kind of stuff for years. pirates came out 6 years ago, i would hope that he sounds different nowadayssvpreme wrote:Not gon' buy this.
