Don't mean to be patronising, but far too many people overlook Milanese, hear it all if you haven't.particle-jim wrote:More nasty/dark/hard breaky stuff in the vein of Vex'd/Threnody etc..
Get 'Frequencies Of The Mind (MTR004CD / RED034)' too, pure heavy breakstep compilation.

S&D are still around as Scarecrow, though they haven't released much.
Milanese is busy doing game scores, I think. Though he did release a new tune on that EE; so maybe there's a change of new material.
Boxcutter is still around, just not making breakstep. Though not sure if he'll still use this alias or just go by The Host from now on.

I don't think it's one particular tune, but they've got some really poppy (but still dope) stuff like this:Genevieve wrote:Edit: Uhh I never.. listened to Disclosure? Ever? Post the tune that sparked the h8
But I want to hear more tunes like these:
Reso should pay me for all the promo I've been giving him lately...particle-jim wrote:More nasty/dark/hard breaky stuff in the vein of Vex'd/Threnody etc..

Latch is one of the most annoying tunes that came out this year. Up there with Bax...

agree that latch is fucking terrible.
Bax though is sick (though monumentally generic)

That is the Disclosure thing everyone is going mad about?
Barely worth watching on mute.

Bax was released a year and a half ago. It was good, then got played out and now is on the fucking radio. Such is the way of tunes
Re: What does electronic music need more/less of in 2013?
less "nu disco"
skream playing a "nu disco" track he's releasing next year right now on mixmag
make it stop
actually, just more music not aimed at solely at the dancefloor

Re: What does electronic music need more/less of in 2013?
i actually dont mind latch - it's a nice pop tune, it's the rest of their stuff that annoys me.
