The drums could do with being a bit louder in the mix, at the moment the synths are dominating the mixdown and drowning them out quite a bit.

I agree. Some side-chaining would do this track great, but I didn't even know what it was a couple days ago when I made it. :(

I just took a couple minutes to try to side-chain the kick. It was first attempt at side-chaining but I do think it sounds better. Can you hear the difference?

I dont understand all this side chain talk... I just master my sounds one by one get rid of certain freqs and mess with my treb, high mid, mid, low mid, bass, and low bass, till i get a sound I like, and then bam, done, next sound.

Rasperdub, I EQ every sound too. Although, instead of lowering the volume (or range of frequencies) of the whole bassline to hear the kick more clearly, it only lowers the range of frequencies when the kick hits. Or at least that's what I tried to do.
