Wubstep - Kings Cross is the closest national rail and then Angel underground is where you wunna get to.

I'm so excited for this. It's been far too long since I've been out with my ninjas, and even longer since I've been to Bangface.

I think I'm gonna get in for around 7, probably head to that pub for drinks and pizza. Anyone else up for some food?

I'm going to be in Somerset... working over Christmas apart from the bank holidays and 'working from home' on Christmas Eve so if I want to be at home for more than 36 hours, I've got to go on Friday night!

GUTTED :/

Looks like it on after all, bigup 1 like Jim.

Think I'm gonna coach it down fairly early, go to some artfag exhibitions, unless anyone else is about with better suggestions?

I'm trying to convince Dead Rats to come for a beer, last chance to see you guys before new year, I suppose. He's finishing bout 8, plus travel to Angel. Kay - spoke to Glenn and Nick too, if Martin is up for it I'll try to get them to come as well.

Wubstep, any particular exhibitions?

I remember Dead Rats from the Downboards, tell him that, might freak him out.

I'm thinking;

Tate Modern
http://www.timeout.com/london/art/event ... o-moriyama

Barbican
http://www.timeout.com/london/art/event ... 0s-and-70s

Either or both, depending on location, doable? (I did live in LDN for 11 years, you'd be surprised how little I know)

If you don't mind a bit of a walk, Barbican's not actually that far from Tate ..Modern... takes about 20 mins at a decent pace. Just walk over Millennium Bridge, round St Pauls and then down St Martin's Le Grande... the Barbican's just over the big roundabout with the Museum of London on it.

There's probably a bus, but I do that walk most days on my lunchbreak... it's quite a nice route too*.

*and there's a Nandos in the One New Change shopping centre on the way.

I'd think it'd have to be a very decent pace to do in 20 mins!

I do walk fairly quickly, but I quite often go shopping, to the bank or go for food in ONC on my lunch break and always make it back to my desk behind Tate Modern within about 45 mins even with lunchtime City queueing!

It's not far at all really... I'd be surprised if you could make that walk last 25 minutes.

Edit: Phew, I'm not going mad. 0.9 miles according to Google Maps. 21 mins by their zimmerframe pace estimate! :W:

Definitely recommend getting a ticket in advance, they have a tendency to sell out on the door very early.

Alright people, will probably be at the pub on the corner that johnlenham said does good pizza. Probably from 7.30pm ish. If you have any better suggestions text me.

Bangface or Barbican?

Bangface *definitely* get a ticket... I've never not got in, but it always looks a nightmare for the on-the-night queuers.

If you want to see the Rain Room at Barbican (if it's still on?) then you'll need tickets unless you want to get there early and queue for ages.
