easy all, basically im gonna sell my Alesis M1 MK2 monitors soon and im just wondering wots the next step? obviously i want to have "better" speakers with better bass response etc and something which is within the £300-400 range...
any ideas?

i'm not sure you need to upgrade dude. Set up nicely, those Alesis's are plenty good enough. My mate uses em for all his drum and bass stuff and he never has any complaints about mixdowns from the labels...... i think theyre pretty good meself, its just a case of getting to know them.

you might find a sub more useful, or some quality speaker stands to get the alesis' setup really nicely if you havent already.

I'm also thinking of getting some 8 inchers and working in surround. Put my RP5's at the back of the room and get some RP8s or HR24s or something a bit higher end and 8 inches.
