ouch, them purcusion bits are way too loud. i hear alot of unecessary frequencies in ur sounds and theyre all fighting for headroom in the track resultin in a soundclash. i kno there are some basic bits about EQ and that on here, apply the right eq to the right sound and level that sound to sit well in the track.
you should also have restraint, as u notice in pro tracks, they don't throw loads of sounds over eachother. they carefully pick wat sounds go with wat and build the track around the sounds.
when you make a synth try to layer em carefully, so u don't apply reverb to subs and all that. think of a synth like a sandwich - you don't mix up the jam and butter before u spread it do ya?

keep with this track until you get it right, then when u do ur next track u will have all the lessons u learned in ur mind, and on your PC.

i've just figured out why the mix is so off. its because you think the bass is blaring. lemme tell you.. it aint. i've got mackie 824's dey dont lie much.
so if you think the bass is too loud ur gonna push up all the other sounds to come thru the bass, rite? when in reality this just makes the mix too harsh. get me?

wat monitors have u got?

advice is you should think about gettin a decent set of monitors. since ive upgraded my little studio, my workrate and quality have improved alot, i understand alot more bout how sounds work and dat
even if u decid u dont wanna produce no more u'd still have a gud little system
