i completely agree with you step correct, about burning man. i've never been, but i've been to raves, and frankly, im not too impressed with the sound of burning man.
not to mention that it's become all corporate now.
i would go, though, just to chill, but im not gonna dress up like a space hippy when i go...
i dont need some special festival to express who i am, i do it all year long, thankyouverymuch

Yes. To top things off one of them plays dubstep (if only for about a year) and he thinks he's like a god or something now. I'll be frank he really blows as a DJ but I bet he's gonna see some eal action on the decks while he's there...and come back with even more of a fucking watermelon head because of it.

Re: Burning Man
yeah my ex went last year and thought it was the best thing ever, and im sure it was really good but she did go a bit over the top about. she talked about pretty much nothing else for ages when she got back and it was like she had some sort of post-burning man depression when she got back cos nothing could ever compare to burning man. shes absolutely gutted that she cant go this year and thinks that the week its on shes going to be really depressed knowing whats going on thereStep Correct wrote:........Is it just me or do the people that go there act like they are in some kind of secret magical club and have special powers or some shit. All of my friends that go wont stfu and the lot of them get a lil big headed about it.. I'm sure it's great time and all but keep your feet on the ground people. I have a buddy who quit a good paying job to go (he's worked there 4 years) another friend pretty much now hates life all year and looks foward to nothing else (pretty much his exact words) It's rediculous!
lol yeah my sentiments exactly. would still like to go sometime thoMisk wrote:i completely agree with you step correct, about burning man. i've never been, but i've been to raves, and frankly, im not too impressed with the sound of burning man.
