I was mixing last night -- brought back some real memories. I might need to bring two bags of beats. There's so many tunes i want to play. 5 hours between me and Q might not be enough.

I'm there to have fun (as always) and i'm there to educate. We all are.

Image <- official dubstep university logo.

Professor Nice and Professor Q are deans of the history department @ the New York satellite campus of Dubstep University. For tonight's musical lecture, we will be visiting the history of dubstep. All eras of the sound will be heard on a loud soundsystem as close to chronological order as possible. If you have a question about a particular tune, please raise your "5" and the music will be stopped so your question can be heard among the group. Once your question has been answered by the department spokesman (MC Juakali), Professors Nice and/or Q will continue the musical lecture from the point of cessation.

The lecture will be held in room 178. No assigned seats. Food and drink are permitted inside the club; however, smoking is not.

Finally, tonight's event is equivalent to 6 college credits. Please see your bartender or security personnel for a signed certificate documenting your attendance to the musical lecture.

FOR THE MASTER'S DEGREE CANDIDATES: Please have your thesis completed by 12am tonight.

FOR THE PH.D SEEKERS: Dissertation topics must be presented at the end of the event. Normally, this would be a typed document, but for this event -- a note on a napkin will be acceptable.

we'll leave the older stuff to y'all, and we'll debut some new beats of ours 8)

also, we're giving a very brief "history of houston rap"
