Free Choir Synth Vst

Post by SMOR3S » Fri Dec 21, 2012 3:57 pm

I have been looking around this morning for a Choir Vst, but haven't had any luck finding a free one.. Mellotron costs like $150, which I am short on at the moment, so that's a no go.. There is Papelmedia an Florestan, but I think their websites are down, so I can't seem to find a link to those.. I also found Voc One/Voc Two, but didn't give it a try yet, I might though.. My original plan was to layer "ahh" samples and use some delay and reverb, but is there like an actual Vst (free), that generates "ahh" choir synth sounds? If not then I'll just go the route of using a simpler/sampler with some layered "ahh" sounds...

Thanks!

Alchemy Player should be able to do something. Xoxos has some voice synths as well. Or run a pad through formant filter. :6:

LOL Okay.. I used some of the vox samples with my vision track, and I think it came out really good @__@ I'll post a WIP in the WIP thread! Thanks bro! I <3 u :3

P.S. I might have to change the track title to "Lights" cause it's weird to have the track name "Vision" if all she says is "Lights" ^_^

Does the actual version (the paid for one), come with more vox loops? and if so, could you link me to it please? :3

Thanks!

So many big tunes built around samples and yet people are worried about stuff being legal, just pull a whitelabel or a free download if you must. I don't think Flying Daggers, 9 Samurai, Alicia, Dry Cry, Dem A Talk and Murdah, just to name a few, would be as good as if they were made only with loopmasters samples. If you want a choir sound just sample a long note off youtube or any cd around, tune it and load it in a sample, bam, choir vst for free. No one will give a fuck, stop turning music into business.

Ya I love DSK my self, but DSK Strings always crashed on me, so I am using Edirol atm, but it crashes live every now and then...

Dude! Has everybody already forgotten Angelina?! Used to be payware, still my go-to for exactly this kind of sound. Can be a little bit CPU hoggy but that just means it's full of butter. :corndance:
