I make music that is kind of similar to Burial, and lots of the people that buy it happen to be girls. I found it quite surprising, but cool.. I reckon they don't just frequent forums like this as much, so you don't see it

I went to a house party a few months ago and towards the end of the night about 3am-ish, this strange looking girl (sequins stuck to her face and stuff) put archangel on and it wasn't the right vibe, it felt really strange and she was clearly doing it to be like ye i'm cool I like Burial although she's the first girl i've met other than my girlfriend to listen to Burial (my girlfriend barely does too) so I chatted to her just incase she's genuinely into him and she was fucking nuts. She said that she felt a personal connection with me that she's never felt with anyone before and that she knows me and her are from a different planet, it started out like she was coming onto me but then went the opposite direction. Then she went on to tell me about how many extra terrestrials she's met and stuff.
