This is my best effort,

Ahh this is sick! Good work! Duplicating and saturating the reece would make it sicker, how did you create this?BudSpencertron wrote:Soundcloud
basically just staight out of massive and than bounced and put into a sampler and added some glide
Sounds really good man, congrats.BudSpencertron wrote:ok in massive i had two oscillators on sawwave normal detune like -20 plus 20 centsand the third is a sine send directly to the second filter.freq split after massive into two dif midranges and one sub.
-one midrange got a second bandpass filter movement (tal filter 2) after the filtermovement from massive(was nothing special some lowpass to bandpass),some white noise after the filter some eq to make it smoother and at the end a slight chorus
-the other one is just some eqing after the massive sound
then i played a some basslines and bounced all the audio into a audiochannel and loaded dif loops into a sampler and place new basslines where i thought some gliding into higher or lower octaves could work.
added some filters in the sampler thats pretty much it so far
Love this sound! Whatd you do?bodom418 wrote:Okay really went back to the drawing board on my reeses, and I'm fairly pleased with this latest effort; the track in my sig. If there's any interest, I wouldn't mind detailing the process
sounds good bro.lloydy wrote:Heres my latest reece based track. All the sounds are from one reece patch and just plenty of fucking about with effects. The reece patch was made in massive and resampled into kontakt, all filter movement is done using volcano 2,kontakts filters and logics autofilter.Distortion used was literally just camel phat and a touch of bitcrushing.
Reverb and delay used sparingly on all variations of patch,i think i just had them set up on a master effects buss and used sends.

Fat sounding reese, really cool riff too like someone said. Finish that tune bro, cheeky as hell.Method wrote:I'm able to get a good bass reese and process it a fair amount at this point :

But I can't give it that sexy filter movement that alot of you are able to do, are these lp filter sweeps that give it that "ripping" sound?
