havn't been on the forum in a while so i've got more of a 'things that are currently making me happy' innit.

first of all though, happy new year everyone

- Had a sick festival on NYD
- Om Unit played one of the sickest sets i've ever heard, on a nice enough system with a decent enough crowd.
- I heard Om Unit's 'Vivek - Over My Head' remix.. fucking beautiful
- I then met Om Unit, had a nice chat, sound guy!
- Had a short chat with coki, finally got to see DMZ.
- got too see strategy perform marka live.

yeah, i was really hoping to hear stuff like... haunted, voodoo dolls, marduk, bobs pillow, goblin, spooky, mid june madness, on board?
nothing though, i think mala almost played haunted, i swear i saw 007 go on the turntable, got cued up and then he took it off, i'm even certain i actually heard the intro, maybe thats just because i wanted it so badly.

Was that the Let them eat cake (or something) festival? Had a pretty sick line up.

well i saw him put it on the deck, cue it, then i swear i heard a bit of the intro, but then he took it off? and he closed with AWD.

i was shocked that he played fall of the zulu, also got to hear neck back by silkie which was nice.
i think the only tune that got a wheely treatment was weh dem a do off of a CD.. haha.
