not butthurt, London is grim in loads of places, no denying that, its definately not some utopia or something. It's more the replies people put on this forum, its like the DSF is the only forum online where people can talk absolute balls and noone will ever take them up on it. The club itself isnt shit, its the dickheads that it seems to attract. Really annoying when there is good nights on and the aggro involved isnt worth it.
Being asked every 10mins if you deal MDMA and If you dont, do you know someone who does and seemingly wherever you stand is in the path way of some gorrila sized knob in a tank top sweating his mind out.

Maybe Im just bitter though as I used to really like going there till I got elbowed in the face fuckloads of times+ the above + trying to dance/vibe to kryptic minds and from every direction was some twat was talking about how it wasnt hard enough or who are these guys its too slow basicaly from all directions.

Might go back for another sat house night though as that was sick and alot better atmosphere (by comparison anyway)

Should none of us have copied the kids in the 60s by adopting "cool" or "freak out"? Should Hip Hop slang only be spoken by people who lived in the Bronx in the 70s and 80s? Should we stamp out regional variance in speaking so that we all feel less self conscious? All separate cultures have developed separate dialects at all points of human history no matter whether there's been a physical border between them or not - a Shibboleth is one of the ways we identify as a member of our tribe - whether 'A bass music fan from London' identifying with 'par' or 'The most vanilla type of middle class Briton I can possibly be' identifying by scoffing at kids using words they don't understand, we all identify ourselves with one whether you want to admit it or not.

vice mag wanted clicks for their adverts and thats exactly what they got with this topic. london's an amazing city. spend a day in hampstead heath or any of the parks, and i doubt you could say different. its got its challenges and shit parts just like other cities, but its still not boring.
