Thankfully it didnt happen coz im drunk as fuck and hes strictly traktor and didnt wanna play with vinyl or serato and it would have been awkward/hectic, on the plus side, im gonna be warming up for him next month, first time playing out live so well excited.

you can daisy chain serato through traktor and have both playing - i've done it before but was years ago so can't really remember how.. but it's definitely doable

you can daisy chain serato through traktor and have both playing - i've done it before but was years ago so can't really remember how.. but it's definitely doable

Well we were messing around with his traktor going through channel 1 on my mixer, my serato using channel 2 and 3 and having a turntable on channel 4 if thats what you mean, or are you saying I could have run serato through his traktor software? if so, i dont understand

Couldn't you use timecodes, as in you're playing of TC cds and him off TC vinyl or vice versa? Iirc traktor and serato allow audio thru so you could use vinyl too

you talking traktor with hardware (timecodes), or purely software?

if it's hardware you can run decks into serato, and then into traktor box (or vice versa), and then back into the line in of your mixer and you can run both at the same time.... if it's software you're probably fucked

Yeah doesnt seem worth the hassle, he uses one of those traktor all in one toy things and the software so he just has his own channel in the mixer but uses his toy.

Well as long as you have space it shouldn't be a problem then, you could set it up like you written earlier, you run the master outta the console into your mixer and voila
