Post by victorxray » Sun Aug 05, 2007 10:48 am

A new dub. This one called, 'Death Groove 6000'.

Still got a bit of work to do on it, I quite like the basic bass'n'drum groove but the mix is a bit rough, and thougths, loverz, haterz or smack downs please do reply and let me what you think.

thanks
vx

That arpeggiator effekt reminds me of Dopplereffekt/Arpanet. Nice pads. More on an electro tip with the arpeggiattor/pads combo. This is good. Nice deep bass. Fairly sophisticated. This is like dubstep but with detroit/berlin electro elements. Don't like that saw synth that came in after about 3mins ... sounded a bitt naff. Don't be afraid to reintroduce the arpegiattor more quickly in proceedings as it goes on too long with just bass + beats. The arpegiattor + bass + beatz work all well together when together and gives the tune a real head nodding jig. You should cut out a number of bars because in parts it gets quite repetative. Those saw synths are growing on me and improve once you added that nice reverb to them. The core of this is quite nice. Don't be afraid to add a few more elements. Overall this is probably one of my favourite tracks I've heard on here today but it needs to be shortened as there is too much unnessary repetition in it. Adding some hp filtered analogue styles strings might be a worthy addition too.

REALLY nice intro, loving the shakers n beats together!

I'll have to agree with promo about the tranceish synth, i mean ...the notes are good....but just try to use a different sample if u can, if not, add and effect or filter...

All in all, nice steady banga :)

This dub is the same basic bass and drums as the one at the top of the thread. However I ripped every thing else out and did it all again - completely different. Hence the new title. It's a couple of minutes shorter too ... bit more focussed.

Another version. Similar to the second version;
