I am no stranger to bouncing to audio ;)

I should also note that Absynth's envelopes are AMAZING. AMAAAAZING!!!!! Incredible. Best of any synth.

since when does ratio =/= fraction?

badly put, it's a number that correlates to the speed but at first glance it's less intuitive than a fraction ie 1/16

Honestly, the presets I have are pretty sick. I still haven't been able to synthesize anything in absynth myself.

And I think I stumbled on a preset in Absynth that seven lions uses...I have a feeling he uses absynth for most of his pads.

Wow, I've never got around to looking into Absynth but from what you guys are saying it sounds like it might really be worth my while to check out. Massive is beastly... can't imagine how cool it would be to have something else of that caliber at my disposal.

Several of the bass sounds in my sig were made in Absynth, when the dubsteppy part hits.

so, there are two you could be referring to. one is the lfo one with lots of high freq content, or the one that comes after it is a straight up growl that i was told sounded like koan sound. sorry, i don't know feed mes music at all, so you'll have to clarify :)

and, fwiw, the growly one was fm8, and the one before it was asynth. i also already explained the growly one in the growl bass thread.. so if that's the one you meant, just search my posts :) if you meant the other one just before the growly one, i can tell you how i made that in absynth

anyone know any quick tips for envelopes? like how to duplicate points, or do i have to keep clicking every point on a 1/32 grid for wobbling. (im using this instead of LFO)

i just found the copy and paste envelope feature which is nice

Hmm doesn't seem to be like that for me. Absynth seems to take up more than massive when I use it in Ableton.

Since I can't figure absynth out, but I like the original wavs that it uses, I found the library of the original samples and I just load those into Sampler in ableton and now I've got a ton of extremely awesome dry samples at my disposal. Absynth will be learned by me one day!
