what nevvy said. honestly whether he was joking or not, that is the way it is. recently had a revelation; sometimes you just have to accept that youll be thought of as wrong, even when you (and possibly others) know damn right that you arent. just let them think theyre 'winning' and let them be happy with that. if youre successful in this act, you are the true winner

My fiancée didn't get an interview in Calgary this year... a la I'm stuck between choosing a really good family medicine residency in Calgary (and being a 24 hour drive or 3.5 hr flight away from her) or moving across the country to our pretentious ass capital and living in a fucking cupboard of a condo for the next two years doing a shitty ass program that doesn't teach fucking bullshit (but being close to where she could potentially be going to school). Tough shit, so I'm just getting drunk and figuring shit out later I suppose

At least in TO theres more shit to do and I could probably find a night to DJ, but still, I hate this goddamn city because it's impossible to have a backyard to do gardening without being a millionaire
