No, actually... 170 is the only person ignored. anyone who purposely starts shit, or persists in trying to bait me into arguments will just be ignored. I'm easily pulled into arguments, and rather than deal with the bullshit, it'll be easier to ignore them... this way, I'll only hear from people who are willing to be somewhat civil... I'm admitting a character flaw of my own by doing this, I know--but hey... this will solve a lot of problems.
there is no point in arguing, I'm wasting my time with it and pissing myself and others off--best this way, really.
starting shit??
your the one who started the whole quality/value vs releasing mp3's fuck tard.
LMAO
remember the thread title??
LMAO
your the one who started it.
but you cant read this cause you have me ignored.

I'd just like to point out that this is bollocks- mp3 is just a file format, you could have an mp3 with no compression whatsoever, which would make it a perfect copy of the original master.

MP3 is a lossy format, meaning that it compresses music... and a LOSSLESS format would be the same size as the original Wav file, or relatively close... when you decompress it again(because you have to for ableton/burning/etc) there is a loss there.
MP3 removes certain frequencies from the high end, and as the quality gets lower, it removes more and more... at 320, these aren't noticable to the human ear, but they change the way that you hear the frequencies which the human ear ARE capable of hearing.
It's simple sound dynamics, really. I suggest a quik browsing of Wikipedia so I can stop trying to bother explaining. Think what you want though--doesn't mean it's right.

whatever happend to just liking music?
why does everyone get so uptight about what a DJ uses?
or how a song is released? if you like it you should buy it in whatever format it is released.
personally i could give a fuckwhat a dj is mixin with, 2 tapedecks i dont care.if the vibe is right i dont even pay attention to the dj, guys who sit and watch djs are gaylords, look at the girls behind you.
this thread is anal---
