i like a mexican band called Los De Abajo - they do a mixture of traditional, ska, punk, reggae, and hip-hop. its not as cheesy as it sounds, and if you ever get the chance to see them live its good fun. In a way its quite similar to Manu Chao/Mano Negra.

also, on a more hip-hop tip there's a band called Macacao.
More similar to Ojos are Amaparanoia.

For more latin-sounding music, try Radio Mundial or Orlando Cachaito Lopez.

Ojos are amazing mate, Have you got Barí? Not as varied as Techarí, but still pretty damn good. I haven't checked them out yet, but there is a band called Amparanoia who apparently do similar stuff.

Not so fond of most nuevo flamenco, but would advise you to check out some of the older more "pure" flamenco if that grabs you.

Edit: Someone already mentioned Amparanoia, whoops

Techari was just nominated for a Latin Grammy for "Best Flamenco" Album. Great album indeed. Have you seen them live?
