Craig, acid-dealing punk and aspiring chemist, pours a batch of failed speed on his brother Brock's marijuana, creating a drug that induces orgiastic funk parties. This makes Craig popular at school and allows Brock to exact revenge upon his emasculating ex-girlfriend, but it also damages Craig's budding relationship with a girl he may really like. Luther, a homicidal 70s-style drug kingpin, wants the formula, and comes to get it at GrooveTaco, the play-within-the-movie, an homage to lesbian assassin hookers written by Craig's psuedo-freudian drama teacher.

Was pretty good I must say. Joaquin Phoenix's performance really is fantastic. And Jonny Greenwood did another amazing job on the soundtrack.
Another great film by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Watched Oldboy last night. Fucking loved it What a proper sick film.

I've also come to learn that Ebay is fucking fantastic for buying films. Just bought Reservoir Dogs on blu-ray for just 7 euros incl. shipping and a few weeks back I bought Nil By Mouth on dvd for just 5 euros incl. shipping from the UK and Seven Samurai for just 8 euros. That's nothing.

Watched Oldboy last night. Fucking loved it What a proper sick film.

I say this to everybody who really enjoys Oldboy, watch Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Lady Vengeance. Those 3 films are part of a revenge trilogy, completely seperate storys though. Oldboy is the best of the 3 but the other 2 are definitely worth a watch if you enjoyed Oldboy.

Furious they're doing a remake of Oldboy, going to absolutely ruin it. If you can't be bothered to read subtitles you should be deprived of a good film, its just laziness. Pissed off they're remaking Evil Dead too.
