Please recommend some speakers

Post by benjybars » Thu Aug 30, 2007 12:15 am

.... for bedroom use with decks. Nothing too expensive but not cheap crap either. Should i get a sub separately or are there decent entry level speaker packages that come with a good sub??

cheers big ears.

I have these active monitors, and I'm totally happy with the sound quality and bass level for mixing:

I don't even have the speakers turned up to max and when my mixer is cranked up the walls shake with bass. I've had them about a year and a half and I've had no problems at all.

the fostex PM 0.5 and SUB bundle is £300 in turnkey at the mo. It's pretty immense.

It's probably worth checking out ebay, i managed to pickup Acoustic Energy Evo 3's for under a ton (bargain :) ) granted there not active but you already have an amp you might save yourself some cash.

Yeah man I got the KRK 6's and Shafey got the 5's.

I would recommend gettin a sub if you get the 5's but you can get away without a sub with the 6's
