Snare's overusad as hell. I can't say much about the rest of the tune, as mixing isn't finished yet.
Personally, I'm not feeling the vibe of the tune, it's too 'commercial happy', as stupid as it sounds.
maybe try some layering on main wobble.

So should I change up the snare sample or add some variation to the rhythm or both? I haven't done much EQing on it yet either.

If you like the sound of sample, do nothing. Variation's never a bad thing, unless you do it every bar.

Its not bad! I'm feeling it as a chill track, I mean some of the strings are a bit cheesy/house like the section 2.00-2.30 but I wouldnt say its too commercial sounding.
The drop at 1.03 need to be a bit better build up and cut some sounds off to make it more dramatic... the actual dub bassline needs a bit of eq'ing imo, sound better if you took a bit of the bottom end off it (bottom 400hz maybe), and had some sub bass instead?
