Good win for england, should boost any confidence issues in the camp. Hales looks like he could have a really promising future.

The SA v Pakistan test is looking like it could be interesting as well, good rear guard batting from Younis!

The SA v Pak test was really compelling I thought.

I see the NZ v Eng series going one way then the other before the deciding match gets rained out

20/3 after 11 overs. Shits looking dismal.

thank goodness the ship is starting to steady a bit now. though we still need a lot more runs for a total that we're capable of defending.

Oz 360 for 7 v India First Test
Singh bowling better day 2.
Clarke (130no) showing he's pre-eminently that rare creature: a test batsman.
Jeez that pitch is breaking up badly tho.
Growing a bit of grass on it might help.
(says me, ex-groundsman at North Sydney Oval)

All i've done all day is watch cricket

Wicket breaking up pretty badly in SA, wouldn't fancy batting last on that one at all

Tendulkar looking good on 71 which is nice to see, India 180-3, it's looking like this could be a very interesting series. I fear for Oz if Clarke ever fails but tbh I know very little about any of the other batsmen.

New Zealand is a bitch to keep up with here, I fell asleep at about 3 in the morning and woke up to the 5 live sports extra loop. The test matches are going to be brutal :) .

Magnificent innings by Dhoni- Australia well and truly on the ropes. Won't start crowing oo soon as we lost the first test tthere aswell but Oz don't have a Panesar to turn to.

lol third post in a row- soul-sapping partnership between Vijay and Pujara has put Australia on the back foot. Starting to feel sorry for Phil Hughes now  . Only Clarke can save them now!

NZ England starts in a couple of days. I'll go for a sketchy 1-0 victory, Jimmy Anderson averaging 20 to save England from some complacent performances :) .
