Free music production players

Post by outdropt » Fri Feb 15, 2013 5:30 pm

Hey guys,

I'm starting to sample hunt at work, seeing as its my least favorite part of production.

I'm trying to find a decent player/editor. I tried audacity but personally, i hate it. I just need a tool to view waveforms, a spectrum analyzer would be nice too. Also the ability to have multiple tracks, and an eq would be a big plus.. Just to get a feel for what works together. An option to time stretch..

Any suggestions?

Im just looking for a free, basic app to see waveforms, edit slightly maybe.. Mainly just for sample digging at work..

You could try this
http://www.sonicvisualiser.org/
It's free, and there are various plugins available for it
Hope this helps.

Best option imo.
Wave view, timestretch, eq, etc.
