You should read the books.hugh wrote:super excited to have this back, my only problem is that I feel the Stark-Lannister war is getting a bit murky and it's hard to track where they are in relation to other places in the show and that sort of thing. Was gutted for Tyrion when his dad went off on one, hope Tyrion does something awesome and screws over his whole rancid family. Like a boss.
I'm just about to start the third one actually :>deadly habit wrote:You should read the books.hugh wrote:super excited to have this back, my only problem is that I feel the Stark-Lannister war is getting a bit murky and it's hard to track where they are in relation to other places in the show and that sort of thing. Read, the show while good doesn't cover everything that's in the scope of the books (plus I have a feeling they'll be cutting some of the more graphic stuff later on as it's even extreme for HBO standards). It cut down some great parts last season already just for the sake of trying to fit one novel a season.hugh wrote:I dunno what to do first actually, watch the third series or read the third book? :s
This isn't really a case of versus, they're both great in their own ways, and the show hopefully encourages some more people to read the books and vice versa.esfandyar wrote:book>tv show
