Please. Demons, Bass, Palace, Leaf, Keep it G, Purple Swag....all amazing tunes. I'm glad more people are picking up on it as there's FAR FAR worse shit that could've gotten popular.rayman612 wrote:lol he was overhyped from the get go

listening to Twin Gambino and youtube comes out of leftfield with a genuinely good recommendation:

i think a lot of what made that mixtape so fresh boiled down to the clams production... with the exception of purple swag and perhaps trilla i think most tunes on live love asap stand strongest as instrumentals.SCope13 wrote:Please. i think that's also what made long live asap so lacklustre (see phigure's previous quip about rapping over skrilly boy now...definitely not a "leaf" or "palace" to be found here) and rocky's penchant for bringing a half dozen other names on the album's best tunes with him is both its biggest achievement and downfall. the others make his star shine a little brighter than it would otherwise, but those moments are also when rocky's lyricism and flow are overshadowed by his stronger peers.

I think we can all agree that Ridin Dirty is a pretty great album.
