I want releasing tracks through ios/android video games to become the next staple in musical evolution.... where as a game is released with tracks included in the purchase price.
The game I've been working on is getting shopped at GDC in march with hopes of this platform working out well. Hefty lineup with plans to release on limited edition 180g vinyl. Hoping someone picks us up or at the very least invests.
I honestly believe this is where we go with music. Rockstar has already proven this to be a viable release for big games however big games don't work well with new and breaking music. IOS/Android/Indie games do. It's much easier for us to work tunes in.... especially with genres where not a ton of money is made from actual sales and audio is simply used for live/dj career advertising (in a sense). Mutually beneficial advertising as well.
We'll see but that's what I want to change with music... the avenues artists have to become known.

The big dream is to get signed to Warp and release a overwhelmingly critically acclaimed album that is remembered for decades to come as a widely influential piece of music.
but honestly i'd be satisfied if i could make enough money off of music to pay the bills.

Simply to make one of the biggest bass's possible with proper compression. Release a track that sounds amazing, just one, simple awesome, track.
Something you can feel and hear to its maximum capacity.

Make my own sound system, powered by electron valves like back in the day.
Record to 1/4" tape and do some crazy dub.
Make my own studio and signal processing stuff (preamps, echo, etc).
A lot of this is already planned, just need to get the circuit stuff and a soldering iron. I actually made my own guitar effects unit for GCSE Product Design!
