Nice Hit Sounds

Post by Dankstep » Sun Feb 24, 2013 6:47 pm

Been trying to come up with some big hits similar to the ones used in this track.
.
the first sound you hear immediately when you start the track. i'm guessing he used a sample for this? what would be a good place to start when it comes to making sounds like these?

Well i was referring to the whole sound, the less obvious parts. The kick is pretty obvious and so is the fact that it's a chord. But was it synthesized? If not how could one go about making something like that. And oh yeah I didn't even think about the fact theres probably some white noise in there too

Never heard this track or artist before. Its pretty sick! Sounds like a fusion of Habstrakt and Kill the Noise with a dash of Daft Funk! Have you noticed that there's a sample/instrument that is constantly panning between the speakers?

Yeah I've never heard getter either till like 3 days ago. But yeah I did notice that, theres a lot of subtleties like that in the song that i'm noticing after opening it up in ableton trying to break down the sound.
