Kode 9 and Loefah dropped Dirty from what I remember.

I don't think I've ever had so much fun in my life. Met so many nice people, skanked out to so many sick tunes. Was such a positive experience.

Oh man, I imagine he'd play a decent dubstep set now.. as hes pretty much moved on to house and disco when he does play dubstep I assume he'll pull for the classics instead of the dreadful new stuff he was supporting a while back.

Did he play Bang That?

Na he didn't play that. Klose One opened it with his set though in room 2

Skreams set was nuts !

the digital mystikz vs loefah was a really good set, and they did tease with some real weight, but i felt skream pumped the bass up a notch from digital mystikz & loefah before

greeny wrote:felt soulless imo and had been built to feel like a festival (with it's own cash machine!). loefah's selection was amazing but it was being played in the shittest of places. no space to move, full of pricks pushing about. system was loud yes but left me with ringing ears, unlike vivek's system.

all dmz nights have been handed over to audio doughnuts to handle and promote, although it may never be publicly acknowledged. mala, loe, coki and pokes have nothing to do with putting on the night these days and you can tell.

i often find it unnecessarily negative to think about times gone by but last night made me realise how special dmz nights were at mass. gutted.
i wouldn't say it was soulless but yh there rly wasn't a lot of space to move. still thought it was a sick night though man.

the system was nuts though, i thought i was gonna have to leave for the sake of my ears when artwork opened with this.

was rammo for the most part but jesus when they let the system off the hook it was so weighty.

highlights for me were:
kode dropping xingfu lu, south london boroughs and roll up the grass
DMZ: new loe tune, all the classics, mud 2nd drop and 10 dread commandments

Skream dropped dutch flowers and all

had a really good night and there were plenty of good moments but for me it was kinda ruined by the amount of people in there, was fucking ridiculous, some sick sets but hard to fully enjoy them when there's zero room to move and you're constantly getting barged out the way by people moving through. also the amount of security was a massive vibe killer, had 4 spliffs and a 20 bag taken off me on the way in which wasnt great

on the plus side though some properly sick sets and too many big tunes that got dropped to mention. soundsystem was heavvyyy

from reading the few comments in here about Skream it just hurts that he didnt throw that shit down at the 6th Birthday.. If Skream & Benga threw down a b2b old school set it would be fucking nuts.

was a good night...didn't feel like DMZ though. Had to move to room 2 for most of the night (kahn's set was great) cos room 1 was too annoying. Kode9 playing xingfu lu and dirty...my jesus :i: :i: :i:
