I don't about the t62 but a had a pair of t80's and they are spot on. A lot of people agreed ( online and irl ). You should be able to pick up a pair for nothing, I bought mine for £110 and sold them for £ 80. Might be worth considering technics though, two t62's from that site is £340 assuming that's where you were ordering from, you could easily pick up a set of techs for that on gumtree or cash converters.

To be honest with decks i'd personally save up and get either stanton st 150s, numark ttx or technics 1200/1210 straight away. As soon as you get to a better standard you'll probably want to upgrade and wont get much reselling the stantons you're after. A set of turntables should last you a lifetime properly looked after, so a bit more patience should pay off. There are some fucking excellent deals on technics on ebay at the moment. Just find somewhere to service them once purchased if second hand and you're on to a winner. Nice to see someone asking questions about decks. Seems pretty rare these days!!!!!

While were on topic, does anyone know a decent place to get technics serviced?

@benjaminC I get mine serviced at a place in LLanelli wales. It is part of the PAI group . http://www.paigroup.com It seems a pretty big company so i'm guessing there will be other offices/workshops throughout the country
