I'll start with the US Navy Vandguard TV-3:

Yes, I know what you mean. My neighbor, who is a farmer, said he saw something in the sky one day whilst planting crops and generally foraging for his family. He said he saw something in the sky, and the description he gave sounded exactly like a Vanguard TV-5 circa 1958. Now, tell me: how does an elderly, rural man see a spacecraft in midair that was scrapped and long forgotten 55 years ago?d-T-r wrote:don't bother mate. i say this from experience haha![]()

dont focus on proving them wrong or right, focus on where you fly to at night

I also recommend checking out James Gilliand and his Eceti ranch for more current things---there have been a few hour or 2 long videos. the ones with the night-vision/green footage tend to be the best clips to see the ships powering up and doing all kinds of interesting displays.....Enlightened contact with extra-terrestrial-intelligence."The problem is not proving that Ufo's exist. I understand that. i don't need to convince anyone of 'my' truth any longer.Electric_Head wrote:d-T-r, the problem is that everything you say comes across as drug-fueled, hippy ramblings.
Not that I disagree with many of your viewpoints.
But this imo is why lots of ppl discredit the info.
So many of the msgs get ignored because of the messenger.
If you get my drift.

I think things have to be pigeon-holed and labelled because these claims/discussions are often scientific in nature and anyone who goes into any detail about this sort of subject tends to use fairly scientific language to do so.. Science is about categories, lists, order, method and systems.d-T-r wrote:if only we could dissolve discriminative assumptions and stereotypes eh. looks can be deceiving and words can be partial and out of context etc
Shame everything has to be pigeon holed and labeled before looked at but i understand why we do it.
Why should anyone want to discuss a subject like this without proof being provided first? Why discuss how something arrived somewhere if you have no empirical proof this thing exists in the first place? This is the same as your first point, surely, and grossly unscientific?"The problem is not proving that Ufo's exist. -Alex grey“Modern Materialism has been a destructive ideological force hidden in the Trojan horse of Orthodox science. Scientific orthodoxy and the materialist world view propose the natural world and conciousness as the result of a series of accidents and conciousness as a by-product of the brain.
Altered states are conciousness are consider pathological and primary focus is placed on manipulations of the phenomenal world. An attitude of materialism shuts off a persons intuition by which the spiritual world is apprehended , because spirituality is labelled as a delusional belief or dangerous hallucination
By confining it's self to what can be measured with instruments, the materialist point of view becomes a metaphysical flatland allowing no subjective insight in to why we are here.
Humanity has developed to it's current state of complex rationality because of the refinement of language. Considering conciousness as an evolutionary force may imply that there are higher states of conciousness beyond reason, Trans-rational states. According to the transpersonal vision, conciousness is central to understanding the nature of reality , and not merely a 'by-product of brain activity' as proposed by the materialist-impricisist paradigm.
If language was the necessary mind-tool needed to develop reasoning intelligence, what mind tool is needed to develop beyond reason?
The conceptual mind constructs a coded world of meaning by assigning names (language/definition) to things and comparing them, the everyday functioning of civilizations is completely dependant on the powers of the conceptual mind and it's coded world. The downside is that creating a world of isolated distinct objects, the conceptual mind creates a mental trap of limits and opposites, distinguishing our isolated self from everything else. The conceptual insight mind creates a seductively logical prison of worlds that only spiritual insight (trans-rational/transcendental insight) can cure.
The mystical perspective reveals that we and the world are so profoundly integrated that neither we nor any other thing is truly isolatable. No thing arises independently of the entire web of creation.”

If not, do you think the experience is happening physically or not?
If not, do you think the event is taking place externally (but on another plane/dimension) or internally, in your head?
Does it matter to you?
I am very open minded but also really rational. I do not doubt you experience something but I find it fascinating to understand it having not had such an experience myself. I have had out of body and other such lucid mental experiences but I know what they are, and I know what reality is, and (most often) how big the gap between those things is. If I see a pyramid shaped UFO during one of these experiences my brain can remind me that I have only seen such things in similar circumstances and that the likely hood of the event being 'real' is slim.
Or would you be of the opinion that what we experience day to day is less real than these experiences?
