I'm not going to share too much knowledge but it has nothing to do with pitchshifting
It's very easy to make
looking forward to this.

So how did you go about making the machine gun style bass in the second drop? The metallic sounding one specifically.

Thanks ! The easiest way to make a machine gun bass is resampling
But the main idea is to use volume automation instead of filter automation :W:

Could you go into detail please. From the bottom up, starting with what kind of sound you start from then re-sample and your process.

Obviously he just took the original getter bass wav and cut some of it to sound like a machine gun lol... That's mostly the idea. Volume automations means putting an lfo with a downramp on oscilattors AMP or performer on AMP... works both ways.

theres no rules to this sound, you can achieve it with plenty of automation with FX.. dont have to change the note with these kind of tunes so its ok to resample.
iv tried getting it from just only using harmor on its own but i admit you'd have to resample or layer a little at least (im talking about the way sadhu does it because his is more complex to achieve than getter's bass for example)

rampdown lfo on the gain and or filter freq. resample a couple different speeds, cut/paste or trigger with sampler for .. maybe load up each LFO rate on its own pad and use a choke group on the samples, just tap different patterns on the pads to find the hard riddims
