another cpu heavy reaktor synth, a filter that was previously given for free and battery 4 which is starting to remind me of garageband. is that all they have to offer?

It certainly looks that way, very disappointing. Although i don't know if the new synth is a Reaktor synth? I thought it was a MiniMoog emulation.

EDIT: Damn, it is a Reaktor synth.

glad I bought Komplete 8 a couple of weeks ago while it was on sale, doesn't look like I'm missing much, other than the fact that session strings is included, which I bought separately.

action strings appears to be a session strings upgrade or expansion, theres more cinematic big drums and percussion, looks like new kits for studio drummer, and there's new session horns... more aimed at pro/small project studio owners i guess

I'm still on 7, don't think they've really added enough since then to warrant an upgrade from me. The new plugins based on the manley hardware looks pretty sweet though.

I'm on 5.
The price of the update is worth it imo.
It's cheaper than the k8 update a couple months back.
Buying it new on the other hand is not an option I'd choose.

so is every1 holding in their jeez spots for march 27? a lot of sheepish people appear to be on facebook :6:
why couldn't they just update fm8/absynth more instead of fooling around.
id say reaktor and massive too but i never use them, the CPU hit is unreasonable in huge projects.
