people keep mentioning "VIVEK's album", but is he even actually working on that?..

only place I've ever heard it mentioned is here on DSF, as if it's supposed to happen but nobody really knows...

not hating. just wondering. :)

I remember him talking about it in a video interview, said it was coming out on deep medi but it was quite some time ago.

That Karma tune gets better every time I hear it. Exercise in economy, use few elements but make each one sound pristine and you're laughing.

& that new VIVEK dub is beautiful

But it's quite nice not to know every track currently floating around, gives it a nice sense of mystery.

Has anyone seen VIVEK play out lately? I'm seeing him in Boston next weekend and I'm wondering what his sets have been like. Similar to his latest from MixMag or Rinse or something else entirely?

Gonna be sick either way!

If he is playing an hour set or something, don't expect any roots / reggae stuff. Will probably play mostly his own productions, maybe a few forthcoming bits from his label. Not a bad thing by any means!

I think he's getting two hours so maybe he'll slip in some more eclectic material. Thanks

I spoke to VIVEK at fwd back in 2011 and asked him if he had an album coming out, he just laughed and said 'at some point'. think he's got plenty to be getting on with anyways
