I've never understood why the fact that someone being a "vinyl only" DJ inherently makes them better/more authentic/interesting. Preferably it should just be about the music and what you do with it?
I've seen some people do absolutely amazing things with CDJs and/or midi setups (Goth-Trad comes to mind) and I've seen people do some really poor vinyl sets.

Don't get me wrong, I love vinyl and I love to play it - but when I play vinyl, I don't consider myself "better" than the CD DJs. At the end of the day it's about the music right?

I'm sure we've had this discussion before, it's just been bothering me a little over the past few days.

it just means you're growing up.

playing vinyl only is a novelty, and there is nothing wrong with that. but it doesn't take any more skill to be a great vinyl DJ than to be a great [other medium] DJ.
