This is my second marriage...hutyluty wrote:what's more important, your marriage or your music career?Crimsonghost wrote:Every. Single. Night.
I really want to do something about it, but at 3am my bed is way to comfy to get out of to try and make a beat. And I don't able the luxury of being able to write or record while in bed (my wife gets pissed if I mess with her sleep).
hint: it's not your marriage
still cant write a good tune

I sometimes do this...
If only there was a machine to take the ideas directly from your mind and put them in your DAW. Then again, that would take the fun out of producing

Ha yeah, but I'm not big on music theory or notes for that matter, so I can't jot down melodies or progressions without visually inputting it through my DAW.wub wrote:Fuck getting out of bed more than necessary, I just keep a notepad next to the bed to write ideas in so I can get on with sleeping.Swelly wrote:All I can say, is that if you've got something to "say", "write it down". I know it's a melody or a drum beat or whatever, get to your DAW and jot it down.
