Champions League semi-finals
  • Bayern Munich v Barcelona
  • Borussia Dortmund v Real Madrid
Those should both be amazing games, Dortmund/Madrid should be fucking ridiculous.

Bayern to smash barca 6-2 on aggregate.

Dortmund overcome their Malaga jitters to beat Real 3-2 possibly aet.

:corndance: I'd much rather see this cos idk im a bit bored of the whole clasico thing, good to see german teams coming through.

I'd really hoped for Barca vs Madrid and Bayern vs Dortmund in the semi's - 2 derbies would've been amazing.

Can see it being another El Classico final :H:
I reckon Bayern vs Madrid would be the best final

Tbh watching barca and real this year neither have been amazing, Bayern were brutal against juve and can really see them exploiting barcas weaknesses at the back, especially if they have an off day like away v milan.

And madrid really struggled through agains galatasaray (spit) and only got one point off dortmund in the group stages.

Well my money goes all german final anyway.

The last Dortmund Bayern match in the German cup was fucking gash - hopefully if it is an all German final it's not a repeat of Robben's bottle crashing, arse collapsing ways

Lol robben barely gets in the team anymore, would be super funny if bayern won and he staye on the bench all game.

I love thomas muller btw, really underrated player.

Bayern are strong all over the pitch but i never find them exciting to watch, would rather have dortmund

I havn't seen much of Muller in the league but he always looks overated for me in the champs league and for Germany. All i ever see him do is arrive late in the box and score tap ins, like a German Lampard

Indeed. The first time you tune into Sky Sports for the Classico it feels like an event... then you realise it's on again in another month's time... and then they've got another two... and probably some cup fixtures... and maybe the UCL...

Dortmund/Munich - now zis is a final!

I still think Real will win the thing, would be so typical of Mourinho to win the ultimate prize then leave

He's brilliant at finding space, always provides an option, as well as being seemingly untiringly enthusiastic, its not an accident he scores so many from late runs- he makes so many of them and always into the right places too..

Tbh though i think my favourite thing is that he doesnt really look like a footballer- saw him described as a trainee doctor on a fun run haha. I've always had a soft spot for playera who seemed a bit out of place like that- ie. Luka modric, who looks like he should be running some warhammer shop somewhere or andy reid who looks like a pub landlord.

If I was in Madrid, I'd be pulling for that with you - caught one of them in a bar in Malaga once... hell of a night.

But yeah, if I'm watching from W1 I'd rather see ze Germans. I like ze Germans.
