Pinch's new label
Re: Pinch's new label

This is fantastic news. Pinch is up there with one of my favourite people in music. Sensational DJ, sensational producer and Tectonic is a sensational label. Excels at everything he does.

^ surely thats good news? Could mean he'll bring Tectonic back to around the 140 area.

Covers look well similar to the apple pips ones.

Not really. Dunno how you figured that out but this is Tectonics output this year btw:Muncey wrote:^ surely thats good news? Could mean he'll bring Tectonic back to around the 140 area.
Beneath - Duty / Texers
Dark Sky - Confunktion / Double U
Pinch & Roska - Shoulda Rolla / Asbestos
Re: Pinch's new label
Thas my point... I'd be surprised if he took both labels in the same direction. I assume if Cold Recordings is going in the direction of those releases then Tectonic will go in a different one, hopefully back around 140.TopManLurka wrote:Not really. Re: Pinch's new label
probably not defunct but there's more a chance of that happening than it being focussed on '140' bits. the previous tectonic releases kinda prove that imo. ima leave it though coz boyy, rly not a fan of al this stale 130 stuff going on in the uk atm. *sigh*

Heard that Baton Rouge loads on the Tape Echo shows on Sub FM, rating both of these, didn't know it was Pinch's label.
Sick.
Sick.
Re: Pinch's new label
Not necessarily 140 but a different direction. I know you don't like the 130 stuff thats why I said surely its a good thing this new label is happening, could be Pinch moving it all to there and choosing a different path for Tectonic. I'd be very surprised if he took both in a similar direction or let Tectonic dry out.TopManLurka wrote:probably not defunct but there's more a chance of that happening than it being focussed on '140' bits. the previous tectonic releases kinda prove that imo. ima leave it though coz boyy, rly not a fan of al this stale 130 stuff going on in the uk atm. *sigh*
At least I'm hoping he takes the 'dark 130' stuff to this new label and does something different with Tectonic.

History will die if Tectonic's dried out.Muncey wrote:Not necessarily 140 but a different direction.
