Yea those damn lazy English colonists with their unoriginal names!
I think we're having one of those twitter moments right here on DSF.
Since we have more than 140 characters here http://totallyhistory.com/thirteen-original-colonies/

It was Plymouth settlement around 1620, and Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1629-30 (actually officially establishing Massachusetts) after Jamestown iirc. Been years since history class, but colonization was always interesting as hell to me history wise.

Right wing extremists - Get rid of all X people\X religion of people who are behind attack, suspend their rights and tighten everything down to stop terrorism and trial in the court of public opinion
Left wing extremists - Ban all guns, still christian undertone, still the same tighten everything down to stop terrorism and trial in the court of public opinion

I honestly can't think of anything intelligent I've ever read on twitter to date.

Mines mainly for keeping up to date with writers I follow posting up articles or links to some interesting articles, other than that it's shit 99% of the time.
It's like text messaging, if it really was something important you'd call. Twitter is taking that to an even more banal level of 140 characters with trending and bullshit.

That's quite a nice analogy of it. I find it really pretentious, why do people think anyone wants to read they're drinking a cup of tea, or having a shit, or watching some shit TV. I just don't get it :|
