Re: The SNH Football thread
that goal...... God damn. Gotta hold my hands up and say I'm in awe of Van Persie, what a player. To be honest a part of me is still glad to see him doing well. Player of the season for me.
lol. bit pessimistic no? Sure, we aint favourites but they have been dropping games recently, Villa are fucking abysmal but still matched them in the second half. Got hope for us on Sunday personallyTopManLurka wrote: Sunday is going to be a bit embarrassing.

They really did dominate this year. Scary.
I'd somehow blocked this tie out from the run-in - had convinced myself we'd only got mid-table stuff until close. Balls.
Man Utd with nothing particularly to play for either... not that that makes too much difference when they visit the Emirates.murky21 wrote:Got hope for us on Sunday personally

At least Chelsea have a tricky run in, plus the Europa League semi. Spurs not so much...magma wrote: I'd somehow blocked this tie out from the run-in - had convinced myself we'd only got mid-table stuff until close. Balls.
Chelsea v Spurs on the 8th will be massive.

United have got 81 points with 5 remaining. If they win all 5 that'll be 96, one more than the current record of 95 set in 04/05.
By Mourinho.
You think Fergie's going to let them take their foot off the pedal now when he can show up Jose? Not a fucking chance.

Re: The SNH Football thread
When I say embarrassing I mean the fact of knowing RVP made the right move and won silverware, whilst we play them and 'battle' for top four. Hope he isn't a smug prick on the day.
Re: The SNH Football thread
I highly doubt he will be. Doesn't come across as that type of player.

I give it two months into the season till Bayern have no competition and thus Pep is hailed as one of 'the greats' again.
Re: The SNH Football thread
yeah what's he actually going to DO when he gets there? If they win the CL, they can't really do much more, failing to win a treble will almost be like...well, a failure.
