It seems my question was founded on two misconceptions of previous pots made by you, so, sorry about that.
My main curiosity was to do with different kinds of feminism and the sliding scale from seemingly out-and-out misandry to, well, perfectly logical requests for sexual equality.

I agree with your post on the whole - I don't have a problem with porn made consensually, I just personally don't see the attraction. That's more to do with my own shortcomings than any moral disgust brought about by the belief that all women in porn are sick in the head/drug addicts/being abused in some way.

Your last paragraph was a bit depressing though. I have my reasons.

Actually, and I have no experience record to go on but my own, I really don't think it's that strange a mix. It's not (at least on a societal scale) uncommon for men with demanding responsibilities, perhaps from a high powered job to want to be submissive in the bedroom, some even go as far as dressing up as babies or having their balls trampled on. We have, of course, got to be really careful to make sure that women aren't being coerced into this sort of thing by over-eager men, but I don't think it should be seen as a sign of weakness or frailty in the woman's character, just as getting reamed by bodybuilder dominatrix's shouldn't for Tory MPs. Thinking back to previous, err, encounters, I've probably done things that would make my mother deeply unhappy, but they've almost always been at the lady's request. I just pick the good rollercoasters, I guess...

I reckon the Internet will, well is, helping a great deal with this. If you met your chosen life partner through the traditional mating roulette of the dancefloor, you have to find these things out face to face whilst possibly blushing a bit and risking looking like (or becoming) a sex pest.
