problem with massive

Post by grimsin » Tue Apr 23, 2013 9:09 pm

So massive is probably my most used synth. I love it, but I'm afraid i have been dealing with an issue for far to long. I can make some pretty wicked wobbles with it. Now lets say i made a patch and im using it in a track. Now everything goes well until I close my daw, and open it back up the patch is no longer there. It initializes every time i open up my daw, or try to clone the patch. The only way around this that i can come up with is to record my patch into edison, and use it like that which is a pain in the ass. This same things happens with presets. Does anyone know why this happens?

Good question. I'll have to get back on that. I'm at work right now, and have no idea. I would have to look.

luckily i remembered where i saw this before this is what the guy said he did to fix it

I had the same problem. You need to delete your database file. It's corrupt.
C:UsersUsernameAppDataLocalNative InstrumentsMassiveNIMassiveDatabase2_ul

Open up the Massive.exe and allow it to re-create the database.

Why not just install the latest version?

Btw. My buddy has a pirated version, and it works fine. That's why i didn't think it was relevant, and I use FL studio 10
